Buyer Cashback: How It Works and How to Claim It

The cashback is real: part of the commission the agent pays livoW comes back to you as the buyer. Here's everything you need to qualify and get paid.

By Equipo livoW · Updated August 20, 2026

Some properties on livoW show the 💵 Cashback badge. It means the agent activated Success Mode: if you close the purchase through livoW, you get a cash refund back.

What you need to qualify

  • The property must have the Cashback badge at the moment you contact the agent.
  • Contact the agent through livoW, while logged into your account — that's what creates the record that you came through the platform.
  • Close the purchase within 12 months of that first contact.
  • Have proof of the closing: a purchase agreement or deed.

You see the amount before buying

Every property with cashback shows the exact amount right on its listing — it's not a surprise or something you have to calculate yourself.

How to claim it

From your account, go to "My Cashbacks" and upload proof of the closing (a photo or PDF of the contract or deed). While you're at it, tell us where to send the money — bank, account type and number.

What happens after you claim it

The claim moves through these stages, in order:

  1. Under review — livoW verifies your proof.
  2. Approved — livoW invoices the agent for their commission. This is where you wait on the agent to pay.
  3. Agent paid — livoW still needs to transfer you the cashback.
  4. Paid — you received the cashback.

If something doesn't check out (for example, the proof doesn't match or the deal didn't close through livoW), the claim gets marked rejected, with the reason explained.

Why it can take a while

Payment depends on the agent paying their commission to livoW first — only then does your cashback get released. It isn't something livoW controls just from your claim alone.
